Actions in performance are happening in the forest which near to the Astana city. There is a one forester whose name is Zhaynak, he always cares and treats and he is in friendly terms with all trees. The President of country, who thinks that “checking the condition of the forest”, is his professional duty, meets with Zhaynak. During the conversation it appears that the forest is also a man, and to check that the President should visit the forest at night. The President agrees. In the dark night all trees takes on masks which shows all kinds of “people” in our society today. In every scene there are different characters, such as opposition, and new Kazakhs who are similar to the real society of our time.

We are making point for theme of Independence, the current problems for today, history of the capital and for the first time in the history of Kazakh Theater the scenic image of the Leader of the Nation, President of Kazakhstan Republic – Nursultan Abishuly Nazarbaev.

Astana – is the main attribute of our Independence. To bring this concept to the hearts of viewers through the dramatic events is the main purpose of the performance “Deep Roots”.
